The microKORG XL+ is a compact synth packed with vintage sounds and modern features. It includes classic tones from Korg’s legendary instruments like the M1, VOX organ, and SGproX stage piano, making it perfect for both studio and live use. You can play full-range sounds using the onboard octave switch or connect a full-sized MIDI keyboard. Selecting sounds is easy with two intuitive dials for genre and instrument, updated to match today’s music styles. Its retro-inspired design features a sleek black panel, sturdy knobs, and high-quality controls. Powered by Korg’s MMT sound engine, it offers rich analog-style synthesis with advanced features like cross modulation and formant shaping. The built-in vocoder, complete with a gooseneck mic, lets you create vocal effects and electronic textures. You also get 17 powerful effects from Korg’s Kaoss Pad series, including delay, echo, and grain shifter. The improved Natural Touch mini-keyboard is more responsive and comfortable to play, and the unit runs on batteries or AC power for easy portability. Plus, you can connect it to your computer via USB to edit sounds with the included software.
