The SV-2SP offers over ten times more sample data than previous models, providing ample memory for a wide range of new piano and keyboard sounds. It includes 72 diverse sounds and 64 memory slots to save your edited Favorites for instant access during performances. With the SV-2SP Editor software, you can easily create custom split and layered programs and save them as Favorites. Each Favorite can access up to three timbres at once, such as a piano/bass split with a layer of strings. While splits must be created with the editor, you can adjust the split point directly from the front panel. Additionally, the SV-2SP now features 128-note polyphony, making it easier to layer sounds and sustain chords effectively.

The SV-2SP showcases the height of audio sampling techniques and meticulous instrument preparation, delivering an incredibly accurate reproduction of classic keyboards. Using the finest, well-maintained instruments and advanced multi-mic'ing methods, each sound is captured with exceptional precision. From the slap of the tine to the hammer release and the click of the contacts, every detail is flawlessly preserved in the RX Layer, allowing you to adjust these authentic artifacts as needed. The full dynamic range of each instrument is also faithfully maintained, capturing the subtle variations from a soft pianissimo (ppp) touch to a powerful fortissimo (fff) strike, and everything in between. This intricate sampling process creates a vivid, three-dimensional sound that fully occupies its space in any mix or performance.

For those who prefer electronic pianos, the SV-2SP offers analog, digital, VPM, FM, and sampled versions, including the popular KORG M1 piano. If you're looking for organs, choose from tone-wheel classics, VOX combos, Italian transistor models, American tube organs, and now even church and cathedral organs.

Need some strings? Options range from 70s analog string machines to prog-era tape strings and rich orchestral sections. The SV-2SP also includes mallets, brass, choir sounds, guitar and bass tones, along with solo and pad synths—perfect for layering or creating custom splits.

In addition to every feature found in the SV-2, the SV-2SP also includes a built-in speaker system. From the backstage dressing room to the dorm or bedroom; from the musical, stage, or dance rehearsal to choir rehearsal; from the living room to the concert hall or house of worship; the SV-2SP is ready to perform, wherever and whenever you are. Producing 15 watts of power (x 2; Left and Right), the internal system features two 2.5" loudspeakers, plus a 3" passive radiator. Available with 73 or 88 keys, the SV-2 is finished with an exclusive warm ivory finish with contrasting grille cloth.

At its core, the SV-2SP is a stage piano. With the touch of a button, you can access some of the finest grand piano sounds from around the world, featuring pianos from top German, Italian, Austrian, and Japanese makers. For a more intimate feel, choose from authentic Japanese or German upright pianos.

The SV-2SP also includes a true honky-tonk piano and a genuine "tack" piano. To top it off, it offers two beautiful harpsichords, one French and one Italian.
